ya, I figured that out and got past that. Heh... maybe i need to close this bug and start a new one to get that across? :) So then when I install as you suggest:
"If I try to install the latest dmraid package from the repository on Tribe5, it installs ok, but won't recognize my RAID array. The exact same RAID array recognizes without a problem from the Feisty Live DVD, (+dmraid installed)" dmraid will also work if there is no swap partition on the drive. But... I need a swap partition for a linux install. ** Changed in: dmraid (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid => New -- dmraid installer complains: Package libdevmapper1.02 is not installed. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/139736 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
