I just bought an Olympus mju 770 and I can confirm that I cannot save rotated images in neither eog nor gthumb (both die with SIGSEGV), apparently because of this bug in libexif12f_0.6.13-5ubuntu0.2 which has been corrected upstream, at least in current 0.6.16, probably already 0.6.15. Running up-to-date Feisty as of 18-Sep-2007.
