Confirmed with Gutsy 64-bit Tribe-5 with updates to 18th September,
2007.

The mouse sensitivity control doesn't affect the bluetooth mouse either.

Also, Gsynaptics sensitivity control doesn't affect the touchpad so this
might be a more general problem.
