1.6 is in Debian experimental and Vivid (see bug 1305701). Yay! LTS releases are stable, they will see only targeted patches. 1.3 is the version in Trusty and that will most likely not change. If you experience problems, report them here as being specific to trusty. My experience is that upstream was VERY helpful in getting targetted fixes backported. If that doesn't work for you, use pinta from one of the PPAs, mine included.
The problem as originally reported has been dealt with so I will close this ticket as fix released. ** Changed in: pinta (Ubuntu) Status: Triaged => Fix Released ** Changed in: pinta (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Rolf Leggewie (r0lf) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1224588 Title: Update Pinta to 1.5 in official Ubuntu 14.10 and LTS repositories To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/pinta/+bug/1224588/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
