I tried to reproduce this bug by installing `Kubuntu 14.10 (Plasma 5)` & `Kubuntu 15.04 (Vivid Vervet) Daily Build` into a VM with its storage already having Windows 7 installed, but ubiquity detects the Windows partition as expected. This bug may be caused due to some stray GPT data on a storage having MBR scheme, as explained in this solution: http://superuser.com/a/778813
