I just tried testing with a Live CD. (I can't install Gutsy since I use by Dell Inspiron 6400 for production work - it has Feisty on it). Here's the problem: when I install ndiswrapper on the machine, it generally requires a power-cycle reboot to get the card to work. Or at least, that's how I usually do it. Of course with a Live CD that brings the machine back to the uninstalled state.
Perhaps I can try something else if I can think of it, but I didn't want to wait longer before replying. -- Unable to connect to an open network, wlassistant can connect https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/89092 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
