Title:
Cannot shutdown 11.10 from Unity Ubuntu I installed 32 bit desktop
version of Ubuntu 11.10 with Unity - activated updated
drivers.Everything works well, Configured Firefox and thunderbird and
then installed printer driver. BUT!!! When I come to shutdown the PC
I get the plain black screen , but nothing else happens.. I have
left it for 10 mins and still nothing - no HDD activity or anything.
The only way to shutdown / reboot is via holding the power button.
Any ideas on how to identify / solve this?
