Public bug reported:

I set the CLIENTOS variable in /etc/default/xymon-client to rhel3 or to
a custom value e.g. ubuntu. The xymon-client init script does not
process this CLIENTOS variable.

In need this variable to setup xymon-server file-monitoring for ubuntu
clients, because debian and all other linux distributions defined in
xymond client-local.cfg using /var/log/messages for syslog. On xymon-
server i add the following line to client-local.cfg:

[ubuntu]
log:/var/log/syslog:10240
ignore MARK

But not as expected the xymon-client send the following client data to
the xymon-server:

[collector:]
client piwik.vm.uni-freiburg.de.linux linux

In consideration of the CLIENTOS variable the xymon client data should
look like

[collector:]
client piwik.vm.uni-freiburg.de.linux ubuntu
