On my X31, suspend using Fn+F4 does seem to work, but upon resuming I am greeted with the message:
"Sleep Problem Your computer failed to suspend Check the help file for common problems" There is also a link to the quirks site: http://people.freedesktop.org/~hughsient/quirk/ Suspend to Disk with Fn+F12, however, does nothing.
