I'd rather have some hints than bouncing. You can have actions on both
leading and trailing side, and bouncing each time you open a page with
such a view, bouncing an item on both sides would be bad UX.

Perhaps a visual clue on the edges when the user taps on the component
could indicate that there's something on those sides would do the job...
