Unfortunately the pastebins have been removed by now; I'm unfortunately
stuck trying to make an educated guess for the moment.

Do you also have a "Windows boot manager" entry in your boot options,
besides "ubuntu"? What seems to me is like you've possibly installed
Ubuntu in EFI mode when Windows wasn't, or some other permutation of one
OS using EFI and the other expecting a BIOS boot.

Could you please do the same commands as you've pastebinned above, but
adding them as attached files instead? Also, what happens if from the
boot options you explicitly select the hard drive, rather than 'ubuntu'?
