There is a patch for the driver on http://pastebin.com/pATazP6K – found it through https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/broadcom-wl/
I've applied the patch on my Lenovo Z510 (which also has a BCM43142 chip) using dkms (copied the patch into /usr/src/bcmwl-…/patches, edited the dkms.conf, adding the patch name, called dkms common-postinstall) and since then the wifi has been rock solid. @Christopher M. Penalver: Can I somehow help to include the patch in the bcmwl-kernel-source package? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1379524 Title: 14e4:4365 Weak wifi signal To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bcmwl/+bug/1379524/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
