Public bug reported: python-ironic's package says its depends on python-sqlalchemy 0.8~ --- which is wrong, the currently release has a dependency of 0.9.7 listed --- and that conflicts with python-alembic, which has an explicit dependency on python-sqlalchemy 0.9.7.
LIsting a more current alembic and sqlalchemy should resolve this, but as of right now, I can't install the package at all on 14.04 ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 14.04 Package: python-ironic (not installed) ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.13.0-43.72-generic 3.13.11.11 Uname: Linux 3.13.0-43-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.14.1-0ubuntu3.6 Architecture: amd64 CurrentDesktop: Unity Date: Sun Jan 25 17:17:25 2015 InstallationDate: Installed on 2013-10-16 (466 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 13.04 "Raring Ringtail" - Release amd64 (20130424) SourcePackage: ironic UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to trusty on 2014-04-23 (277 days ago) ** Affects: ironic (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug trusty -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1414500 Title: Can't install python-ironic due to dependency conflict To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ironic/+bug/1414500/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
