@Alexander

i made some test. etc/network/interfaces working not properly in some
other way:

"network manager" scenario:
1. [manually] ip changed to static
2. some minutes later samba send to WINS server *NBNS Regiostration
reguest* for _old_ ip.

"etc/network/interfaces" scenario:
1. [manually] ip changed to static
2. [manually] /etc/init.d/networking restart or ifdown eth0 && ifup eth0
3. some minutes later samba send to WINS server *NBNS Regiostration
reguest* for _new_ ip. ( It dosn't working, WINS server still report
_old_ ip )

"dhcp" scenario is same to "interfaces"

correct scenario:
1. ip is changed witch dhcp or manually
2. some seconds later samba send *NBNS Release reguest* to remove old ip
on the WINS server and only after this send *NBNS Regiostration reguest*
( To do this i need restart samba manually )

It seems like samba do not know about ip changes if interface was not
disabled ( i think it is the difference between 1. and 2. scenario ).
And it looks like samba bug ( or may be not ) that it send *NBNS Release
reguest* only after smbd restart.
