Mary, the attached config file contains a mixture of <Control> and <Primary> keyboard shortcuts. The "Control" notation has been replaced with "Primary" in Xfce some time ago. However, this change was not yet applied to the custom keyboard shortcuts configuration in Xubuntu 14.04 (bug 1292290).
Now, we need to figure out why you are affected by this issue. Did you maybe copy some configuration files/directories from a previous Xubuntu release over to your current Xubuntu 14.10 installation or did you reuse an old /home partition? I am somewhat certain that removing your current keyboard shortcuts config file and restarting the session should resolve the problem. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1410760 Title: Can't assign Ctrl+Fn as global hotkey To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfce4-settings/+bug/1410760/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
