When you say, "FOREVER", I'm assuming that's wrong, as if it were true,
you'd still be waiting for both the seeable and unseeable future. Where
was it slow? getting the packages? Building the image? How long did it
take, exactly?
As well, see Bug #102982 for possible insight into the "intel_rng: FWH
not detected" message, which could account for the network slowness.
Have you a different thin client to try?
