deliberately avoided matching for *"$check_abstraction"*, so if grub-
probe spat out (contrived example) a list of "braid ponytail", it would
not accidentally match on *"raid"*.

So it seems that for you, "grub-probe --target=abstraction /boot" spits
out a list with "somethingraidsomething", but not "raid" - probably
"mdraid1x" - so the correct fix to my patch would have been adding that
word to the for list. I only have a system with boot on LVM, so I
couldn't test for software raid, as I mentioned above.

However, Anders' patch is more elegant and shorter anyway, so we should
indeed go for that instead :)
