I've upload a copy of urfkill in my PPA for testing... Indeed I don't
currently have a better solution, aside from disabling the input handler
altogether on these systems -- unless it was to be reopened later, but
this is a more involved change.

you're on vivid (the development release of Ubuntu), and see if this
