Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-screensaver
I have the thinkfinger module installed, referenced in /etc/pam.d /common-auth and working successfully with gdb, sudo etc. However on locking the screen (by clicking on the power icon and choosing lock screen) I cannot do the unlock by fingerprint swipe. This implies that lock screen isn't using pam. /etc/pam.d/gnome-screensaver does include common-auth so it looks like things are configured correctly. ** Affects: gnome-screensaver (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- (gutsy) lock screen doesn't seem to use pam https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/138957 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
