Hi, if you can reproduce this issue, can you start up everything, but before the "stack smashing" would normally happen, try this:
$ sudo gdb /sbin/wpa_supplicant $(pidof wpa_supplicant) ... (gdb) br __stack_chk_fail (gdb) continue Then once gdb pops at the stack check failure, do: (gdb) bt and attach the output?
