I've run hda-jack-retask and got the Internal Speakers, Headphone, and
Microphone working. I cannot teste the port replicator as of yet, but
will test it later when I retrieve it from storage.

The headphone jack is not its own output and the laptop auto-switches
internal speakers to headphone upon pluggin them in. The microphone port
does not have plug in detection as far as I can tell. The A/V Out port
on the back of the laptop is always on when set to internal speakers but
it does have its own output which I was able to configure. Since this
A/V Out port is a 4 conductor 3.5mm, I don't know if it is compatible
with a standard 3.5mm stereo output which is all I have to test. As a
result I can only confirm that the left channel is working.

I've attached my new alsa-info after applying the changes from hda-jack-
retask to startup. In what kernel version was that commit you posted
applied to? Before submitting this bug I tested kernel 3.17.6 and still
had the same issue. I can test a newer kernel to be sure the commit
fixes the problem on the VGN-A690.
