  I'm on Ubuntu 12.04.5 with MATE PPAs ( ppa:ubuntu-mate-dev/ppa and  
ppa:ubuntu-mate-dev/precise-mate ),
  I tried to migrate from GNOME 3.4 to MATE 1.8.
  
- When I tried to install mate-applets with 
-       sudo apt-get install mate-applets

  I got the following error:

- As temporary solution I'll remove gnome-applets package from my system.
+ As temporary solution I reinstalled gnome-applets package with `sudo
+ dpkg -i --force-all /var/cache/apt/archives/gnome-
+ applets_3.4.1-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb`.

  Please fix this file conflict.
