Me, too. Thunderbird 31.2.0, Lightning 3.3.1, Provider for Google Calendar 1.0.2. Unless I disable Provider for Google Calender, Thunderbird hangs on start-up and seems to never recover.
I use a fair number of google calendars - around 6 or so, and have quite a bit of history in them.
