Re: Upstream testing, can you tell me how to get the instruction "sudo dpkg -i
*.deb" added in terminal to find the downloaded app? I downloaded the upstream
kernel into its own folder but I don't know how to specify in the command so it
will find & load it. Thank you.

kernel but in firefox browser, slow to open, unresponsive. Running ClamTK every

browser, just visiting very safe, plain vanilla sites, like yahoo. I've reset
firefox and done most of their fixes to no effect. There's no setting I can
find that allows me to quickly clear the cache, I don't want to lose my open
tabs.

Bug description:
I ran apport which found nothing. Basically my computer performance
has slowed to a crawl, after running the most recent update for Unbutu
12.04 PP. I did find some firefox exploits (deleted). unfortunately I
didn't save my old kernels to revert back.
