John Relph, just to clarify, no they are not considered the same issue at this point. The settings you configured would have nothing to do with suspend not waking back up (kernel issue more than likely) or rebooting causing a suspend (may also be a kernel issue, or it's not actually suspending but hanging when attempting to reboot).
