Still have dapper LTS installed, but just checked the package linux- restricted-modules-2.6.20-15-generic in feisty and found that lib/firmware/2.6.20-15-generic/dvb-ttpci-01.fw is included, so it looks like the issue is resolved. Thanks for the reminder.
