sudo aptitude remove nginx results in: The following packages will be REMOVED: nginx 0 packages upgraded, 0 newly installed, 1 to remove and 1 not upgraded. Need to get 0B of archives. Errors were encountered while processing: nginx E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) A package failed to install. Trying to recover: Reinstalling the package made no difference. Note that the failure of the removal script automatically starts the nginx service, even when it is not started prior to running the removal script. I regard this as a security risk.
