I have found a workaround. But I need to explain some things : I'm french, and as there are some annoying things with the UTF-8 locales, I changed it to [EMAIL PROTECTED] ISO-8859-15. Then, I had set the language (in gnome's loggin screen) to "Français euro" (means "French euro").
That's why apt failed to fetch http://[EMAIL PROTECTED]/ubuntu/dists/feisty-backports/main /debian-installer/i18n/Translation-fr.bz2. So I changed the language to "Français" (instead of "Français euro"), and miracle (!) everything wanted very well (apt then created deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu feisty-backports main/debian-installer instead of the adress above). I hope this helps resolve the bug.
