Same hardware here: $ lspci -nn | grep 8185 01:0d.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL-8185 IEEE 802.11a/b/g Wireless LAN Controller [10ec:8185] (rev 20)
$ uname -a Linux boss 3.16-3-686-pae #1 SMP Debian 3.16.5-1 (2014-10-10) i686 GNU/Linux Mainline 3.18-rc2 same problems apply. Found a hack / workaround is to wrap iowriteNN with udelay()'s ; or to use ndiswrapper will also make the device functional. Distro should probably blacklist the driver until a proper fix is decided.
