Same discussion happened in the Debian bug tracker: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=639003 I'll look into creating -gui and -cli packages after the freeze and release of the newest Debian version. This should trickle down into Ubuntu in time.
