Hi Alan, Hm, gobuntu should be registered as a distro in Launchpad so the bug can be filed against it (I assume it works fine with stock Ubuntu, judging from the functioning screencasts)? For the moment, I'll set this as wishlist.
In any case it needs more triage to find out what went wrong. Can you get a network up or some other way of getting debugging info out?
