Still an issue with 5.1-1 The Depend should be extended to not be `libapache2-mod-php5 || php5-cgi` but `libapache2-mod-php5 || php5-cgi || php5-fpm`. Any webserver can be set up to use php5-fpm rather than php5-cgi right now. And since php5-fpm is a package from the official package repository, there is no reason to depend on the others when php5-fpm is installed.
Given that fpm is an improvement over (f)cgi, this dependency may even be harmful for less knowledgeable users who will accidentally use cgi after installing both, or even be confused about conflicting management of php cgi processes. This should be a simple, one-line in metadata file change fix, right? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1118565 Title: Change php dependency to not exclusive mod_php or php-cgi To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/phppgadmin/+bug/1118565/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
