This bug and https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/autopilot/+bug/1378847 are both cases where Content objects are created with strict validation to ensure that an appropriate callback returning a bytes object is coming from. Thomi is working on an update to testtools to allow us to locate the problem.
