Hi, This bug also affects me on ubuntu 14.04, whether I am on USB debugging mode or not on my Xperia M2. The phone detects the PC connection and tells me it is connected in MTP mode. However nothing happens on the computer. When I try mtp-detect : Unable to open ~/.mtpz-data for reading, MTPZ disabled.libmtp version: 1.1.6
