(Sorry for being off-topic, but since we discuss dual-head already)
After what I have learned today, zaphod is when you have two "Screen"
sections in xorg.conf on one card. Xinerama then combines these two
screens. The new xrandr 1.2 can do dual-head with one "screen", like
what TuxFan explains. So should displayconfig-gtk be fixed to use xrandr
1.2 when possible/needed, like when using the new ati driver?
