I’m seeing the issue with e.g. http://www.ashesh.com.np/nepali- unicode.php on devices only (on my desktop the browser app displays the nepali characters fine). The issue is most likely missing fonts.
Rakesh, do you happen to know a font that supports nepali unicode characters that would be suitable for installation on devices by default? I just tested fonts-lohit-deva, and it seems to do the trick, but as I can’t read nepali I can’t validate if what gets rendered is correct. ** Changed in: webbrowser-app (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1378184 Title: RTM r3 why is Nepali Unicode texts not displaying in browser app To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/webbrowser-app/+bug/1378184/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
