The latest testing I have done is to reinstall Edubuntu: DistroRelease: Ubuntu 14.04 Package: linux-image-3.13.0-32-generic 3.13.0-32.57 [modified: boot/vmlinuz-3.13.0-32-generic]
Then, instead of using the default GUI, Unity, I installed the Gnome Fallback which comes with the package. Use of Gnome Fallback eliminates the suspend issues I am having with these laptops. Therefore, I believe that the bug is not within Ubuntu 3.13 per se, but within Unity. I hope this is helpful. ** Tags added: edubuntu unity ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1366432 Title: [Dell Latitude E6400] System crashes after opening laptop from suspend To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1366432/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
