Public bug reported: Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.22
Unionfs breaks when on nfs. [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# mount -t nfs -o ro hh:/export/nfsroot.i386_ubuntu710 /mnt/nfs/ [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# mount -t tmpfs tmpfs /mnt/tmpfs/ [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# mount -t unionfs -o dirs=/mnt/tmpfs=rw:/mnt/nfs/live/filesystem.dir=nfsro unionfs /mnt/write/ If you ls /mnt/write then you hit a nullpointer (as shown in dmesg-postbugg.log) in the kernel, and if you df the filesystem you crash the whole kernel and reboot the machine. (files will be attached as soon as i figure out how.) ** Affects: linux-source-2.6.22 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- unionfs bug when on nfs https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/137765 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
