a new instance of xfce4-display is being launched every 5 seconds an infinite number of instances of xfce4-display are being launched
this makes the computer UNUSABLE this started happening on my computer after a recent upgrade, prior to that it did not happen. See bug 1375020 for details (marked as a dup of this one) The 5 second interval is very consistant, there is some kind of polling activity going on. For me the fix is to run the 3.13.0-34 kernel, I do not have this problem when I run that kernel or older.
