Dear Seth, Being a support expert myself, I hate to tell such a thing to a valued developer but this time I don't think opening a new ticket would be the right path. So far several people mentioned several different wireless cards and apparently have similar or exactly matching problems. Of course if you think it's the right way to go then I will file a new bug myself as well. My config is a Fujitsu-Siemens Lifebook S7020: Ubuntu 14.04 installed today Updated everything to latest card is Intel PRO 2200BG (module ipw2200) Every five to ten minutes it seems to disconnect with similar symptoms as those posted by this ticket's opener. Related to a Realtek card (which I repeat mine isn't) I found several hints on router configuration as well as one hint for NetworkManager: set IPv6 to "Ignore". It did not help.
