Public bug reported: While using the unity8 "next" desktop session preview on my Lenovo laptop I am noticing that when I type an @ symbol, what follows is suddenly all in caplocks, and further, my period key ( . ) can only type this symbol ( >).
This happens in any input text box I try on the system. For example, when trying to log into my email through the browser, I type my email account name and when I type the @ symbol, all that follows is cap locked, and the period key doesn't input properly. from System -> About this phone: ubuntu LENOVO 20246 OS: Ubuntu 14.10 non system image ** Affects: unity8-desktop-session (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: keyboard text-entry unity8 ** Attachment added: "screenshot of incorrect behaviour" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1370625/+attachment/4206522/+files/2014-09-17%2013.10.09.jpg -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1370625 Title: keyboard sends wrong keys to input box To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity8-desktop-session/+bug/1370625/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
