Also affects me with 14.04 and Lenovo X201. Workaround from #21 worked,
thanks! However, this caused the touchscreen to change to relative mode
and the screen to lose calibration. Fixed manually by adding the
following lines to the script:

xsetwacom --set "Wacom Serial Penabled 2FG Touchscreen touch" mode Absolute
xsetwacom --set "Wacom Serial Penabled 2FG Touchscreen stylus" Area -3 151 
26088 16368
xsetwacom --set "Wacom Serial Penabled 2FG Touchscreen eraser" Area -3 151 
26088 16368
