Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kdebase
The printer driver of HP LaserJet 1000 is stored in a .ppd.gz file under /usr/share/ppd/foo2zjs. When I tried to open it from the 'Add Printer' wizard, it did not work (wrong format). I had to manually open the file using Ark, extract it to my home and open it from there. Since the drivers are stored in .ppd.gz format on the hard drive, the 'Add Printer' wizard should be able to open it. ** Affects: kdebase (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- 'Open Driver' dialog of 'Add Printer' wizard should accept .ppd.gz https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/137345 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
