Hi, I can confirm the bug is there upgrading Kubuntu 12.04 to 14.04 on a 64bit system.
I could work around with (as #29): sudo ln -s /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/qt4/bin/qdbus /usr/lib/x86_64-linux- gnu/qt4/bin/qdbus The directory existed already. It seems there is no qdbus for x86_64-linux-gnu available. This bug is a absolute show stopper for anyone who isn't able to debug this problem himself!
