Calcutta indeed is there. Maybe I missed it before.  I would suggest New
Delhi if only one place is going to be mentioned.  However, since many
people may be unaware of India having just one time zone, possibly
including several major cities (Mumbai, New Delhi, Calcutta, and
Bangalore for example) may be helpful.

There is a selection for Dilli, which is just an unfortunate bit of
confusion.  In India, Delhi is generally referred to as "dilli" (that's
what my wife says), and so at first I thought that was the selection for
Delhi, until I saw it was mapping to East Timor.  Having New Delhi
specifically noted would be helpful.

Maybe this is more of a gnome issue than a ubuntu issue?
