I have added an attachment with the output from "cat /proc/cpuinfo".
I have not been able to find a core dump file after running "chromium- browser" from the command line. I ran "sudo find -name core.*" at the root directory, but did not find anything that seemed to be associated with Chromium. I also tried "gcore chromium-browser" but it declined to generate a core file probably because "chromium-browser" is a script file. I also tried gcore at "/usr/lib/chromium-browser", which I think is the Chromium executable, but it gave the same messages: gcore chromium-browser Illegal process-id: chromium-browser. You can't do that without a process to debug. The program is not being run. gcore: failed to create core.chromium-browser Thank you. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1353185 Title: Chromium 36 upgrade will not execute To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/chromium-browser/+bug/1353185/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
