Public bug reported: I tried today adding a passcode to my device, I went to system settings in "security and privacy", and from here you don't know where to tap. I was tapping Security, which gave me a visual feedback of my tap while nothing was showing up (note to our toolkit: we need to make those listitems look different when they are a simple descriptive label with no action connected). The solution was to tap on the entry "Lock screen -> after 1 minute", which I thought was to change the delay in time to lock my screen, but not changing instead security settings.
Expected solution: - Add a new entry to change the security directly from security and privacy, or rename the entry "Lock screen - after 1 minute" into something that hints to further security settings. ** Affects: ubuntu-ux Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: ubuntu-system-settings (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: "screenshot" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1361127/+attachment/4186458/+files/security_and_privacy.png ** Also affects: ubuntu-ux Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1361127 Title: Change phone security (passcode) is undiscoverable To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-ux/+bug/1361127/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
