Public bug reported: I have my xfdesktop configured to display my wallpapers with "zoomed" style, cropping off any overflow when the image is aspect stretched to fit my screen, instead of distorting the aspect ratio of the wallpaper by forcing it to fit on all dimensions like "stretched" does.
Any time I set a wallpaper using Thunar's Set as Wallpaper context item, the stretch style is forced back to "stretched". "zoomed" is a much more intuitive default, but honestly, it should not be touching that setting at all! To repro: 1. Set a wallpaper from the settings dialog, change style to "zoomed". 2. Use thunar to set another wallpaper. 3. Reopen settings dialog; see that it has been changed back to "stretched". Using Xubuntu 14.04 and xfdesktop 4.11.6. ** Affects: xfdesktop4 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1360991 Title: Setting wallpaper in thunar resets stretch style To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfdesktop4/+bug/1360991/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
