After a few more tests, it seems that the issue might be related to a gnome session problem, and that progressive crashes occurs when high- loading the session or other gnome programs ... i've seen that bug witch might describe the actual problem : https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-session/+bug/74682
