I note this happened to me today on a freshly installed Ubuntu Feisty
Fawn (7.04) using their standard wine package and downloaded copy of PAF
5.2. Installed from terminal (sudo wine PAF5EnglishSetup.exe). The
default font is unreadable. The workaround (sudo apt-get remove ttf-
tamil-fonts) allows the PAF program to display the font in english. In
PAF I then clicked on Tools, Preferences, Fonts, Defaults. I then
reinstalled the ttf-tamil-fonts package and still can read the screen in
PAF .. yay! Aside: why do I need the Tamil fonts at all (since I can't
read it)?
